Leticia González created the moniker “Pride of Buckingham” after joining neighbors Robin and Paul McKernan on their canyon clean-up.  Ms. Gonzalez is a skilled professional in the real estate industry with more than 35 years of experience. She began her career as a mortgage loan officer and brings that knowledge to her career as a real estate agent. Ms. González is a graduate of UCLA. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chevy Chase Estates Association, she serves as Treasurer of the Chevy Chase Estates Garden Club, she is a Friend of the Glendale Public Library and belongs to the Glendale Historical Society. In an effort to keep the Chevy Chase canyon free of litter, she created and organized “Pride of Buckingham” in association with the Neighborhood Services department of the City of Glendale and was awarded a certificate of merit for her efforts.  She was honored by the Glendale Youth Alliance as FRIEND OF YOUTH Award. In 2018 she joined California State Senator Anthony J. Portantino and others as a fundraiser to rename a portion of the 134 freeway in honor of President Barack Obama. She funds a scholarship benefiting  East Los Angeles Community College “Puente” program for underprivileged Latinas transferring to UCLA.
